Your submission of an order is deemed to be
your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Terms & Conditions
Please allow 28 days for delivery of all of the merchandise on
this site, although items which are in stock are normally
despatched the same day as they are ordered, or the next day.
The web site is called PowerlineNetwork.co.uk, but is linked to
our parent company site, DeltaPC.com. The emails you receive may
well mention Delta PC.
Please ensure the delivery address is complete and correct, this
is where we will dispatch the goods. Delta PC and ourselves can
not be held responsible for goods delivered to an incorrectly
entered delivery address and reserve the right to make a further
charge should extra attempts at delivery be required.
Privacy and Security Policy
Privacy & Disclosure
We respect your right to privacy. None of the information we
collect is passed on to other parties, except when required as
part of the business services we provide for you, or as required
under UK law.
Data Collection
We will only collect details about you when you place an order.
These will include your name and address, your email address,
and various other details necessary to complete a transaction
and fulfil your order. We do not collect any information which
may be deemed "sensitive personal data" under the Data
Protection Act 1998.
Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of text information created by websites
and stored on your computer. Our shopping cart system uses
cookies to help maintain your shopping cart while you browse our
store. Use of cookies with our shopping cart is not compulsory,
but we cannot guarantee that our shopping cart will work for you
if you have cookies disabled in your browser. No other
information is stored in cookies, and cookies are not used for
any other purpose.
Protection
We will not retain any details that you provide, except for your
name, postal address, telephone number & email address. All
customer's addresses are automatically entered into a database
so they may receive occasional emails or postal information from
us about our products or general advice about our products which
may benefit them. Customers are free to opt out of the news
services by following the instructions on the bottom of each
news email or leaflet
Consent
Your submission of an order is deemed to be your consent to
provide us with your details. We use no other means of data
collection.
Credit & Debit Card Payments
Orders may be paid for by credit/debit card (on our secure
server run by our hosts Servelink), by Paypal or by cheque
(allow 5 days for clearance before goods are despatched) . If
refunds are required they will ONLY be made back to the source
of the original funds.
Our secure server facilities are fully secure and use a range of
industry standard security and fraud prevention systems.
It is known that Internet transactions through systems such as
ours are inherently more secure than other methods of making
purchases in 'cardholder not present' situations such as
telesales, or when giving a card to a waiter in a restaurant.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Legal compliance
The Delta PC and PowerlineNetwork.co.uk returns and refunds
policy is in accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive
which came into force in October 2000 and is part of UK law
under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations
2000. This law applies to all transactions within the UK where a
consumer does not meet the vendor. Contracts between businesses
are not governed by these regulations.
Damaged Packaging/Goods
If any of the packaging is damaged when you receive your order
you must make the delivery service aware of the fact
immediately, and any couriers notes must be marked showing the
goods have been delivered in a damaged condition. You must also
let us know about the damage within 48 hours or you will be
deemed to have accepted the delivery as it is.
Faulty Items
If any items are returned to us as faulty, but
when inspected and tested they prove not to be so, they will be
retained awaiting despatch back to the customer at the customers
expense. They will be returned once payment of the delivery
charges has been agreed.
Your rights as a consumer (not applicable to "business to
business" transactions)
In accordance with the law, you have a 7 day 'cooling off
period' in which you have the right to cancel your purchase and
receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason for
cancelling your purchase. We are obliged to refund your payment
in full within 30 days of your cancellation and return of the
goods.
How to cancel within the 7 day cooling off period
Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 7 days

Please tell us your name and address. If your order was made
from this website, please tell us the transaction or order ID.
If your order was made by post or telephone, please say so.
Refunds due to cancellation
Should you cancel your purchase with this 7 day 'cooling off'
period, we will refund your payment in full. As stated above,
refunds will be made within 30 days of your cancellation and
will ONLY be made back to the source of the original funds.
There will be no charges for cancellation within this 7 day
cooling off period.
Returns and refunds outside the 7 day cooling off period
Refunds for unwanted goods will only be made where the goods are
returned unused, unopened and in re-saleable condition and are
returned with our prior agreement. Unwanted
goods must be returned to us within 7 days of delivery. Please
note that refunds will be for the products only and we do not
refund any charges made for delivery in these circumstances. We
reserve the right to levy an administration and restocking fee of
20% for non faulty
goods.
Returning unwanted goods
Unwanted goods should be returned within 7 days of delivery. You
should post them, unopened and undamaged, to

We cannot accept liability for, or refund against, goods lost or
damaged during transit. You are advised to wrap products
carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to return goods
by recorded delivery, registered post, or by courier. Proof of
postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please
remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your
purchase receipt.
These conditions shall be construed in accordance with English
law.
These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
